Cleaned out my old apartment and found a copy of illustrator CS4 from the previous tenant. Serial number and all. Score

 

I wouldn't say woes. It's all part of wheeling. I'm pretty sure most vehicles would need skids on Shoshone. James' runner was glad to have them.
That said, I did experience several challenges that come from having a truck that is a bazillion feet long. Especially after the creek on christina.

 

I dinged my bedside on the very ledge you speak of (I think) and we did seek out some tougher lines on Shoshone. I'm sure I could have Come out clean if I would have played it safer...except when I came back from going through the water from exploring the other side of the dam. That turn and the rocks and the climb with wet tires was tough.

 

No skids or sliders are needed for shoshone

 

When I hook up my aux fuse box where should my negative cable go? To the negative on the battery or the ground bolt on the frame next to the battery?

 

Just hook it to the nearest bolt on the body or the frame. You can even drill a hole and bolt it down, just be sure to scrape away any paint or rust where the terminal makes contact.

 

If you don't want to spend any time at the lake and drive a reg cab, then yes

I would want to camp every time I drove in there (Shoshone). The lake was great with good camping, fishing and exploring both on foot and off road. Would definitely make an out and back if I lived in lander but would be better to just camp.
We didn't really look around at christina, it was effing windy up there. Blowing-over-full-beer-cans windy.

 

That could describe just about anywhere in wyoming.

My bumper had an altercation with a boat trailer today. Not terrible damage but still makes me a lil sad. I have already talked to the owner of the trailer and he was apologetic about it. He is contacting his insurance about it and will either have them fix it or he will just pay for the fix. He didn't know it happened which is understandable seeing how his trailer was about 40 feet long

 

Bummer man.
