    Don't burn up your fuel pump ;)

    After calibrating mine I've found it to be really accurate until my tank gets really low (like gas light on low) then I've found it to read high...

    Not sure if it is because I usually fill up at 1/4 to 1/2 tank so when calibrating it I never let it run that low.

    That is a excellent way to ask for help. :cool:

    Lat year at Christmas time, I made it in one tank coming back from CDA to my house.

    I couldn't do it this year, or more accurately, didn't want to chance it, when I got stuck in that 40 mile back up with stop and go conditions, west of Ellensburg.

    Got ya. Using the instantaneous to try to control fuel usage will help. You've already done the math you need to it sounds like. The ultragauge will do you one better and let you know how much you have left in your tank to the hundreth of a gallon and like I said mine has been pretty accurate, to the tenth, until I get well under 1/4 tank. Then it slips a lot. It was off by almost a gallon one time.

    True but how do you plan to accurately figure what you've used? The fuel gauge isn't linear.

    My intake temps get that high while sitting at an idle. The header heats up the intake. While moving at 30+ I see temps pretty close to ambient.

    My intake air temps always read higher than ambient. Always! Its' hard to know exactly how much higher because it is difficult to know for sure what ambient is.

    If you go by the Toyota readout on an '07 Tundra or an '11 Corolla, their air temp readings are always 3-5* lower than the IA readout from the ECU.

    Way before CD technology and digital recording. That album is still awesome. Pretty amazing for being 45 years old.

    Yea..but seriously..for the tech they had back then. And how its mixed..i...i can't even begin to explain how hard it would be..like..we are talking 4 people maning the mixing console and mixing it all at the same time LIVE..freaking nuts.

    im thinking of buying the original tape master pressed to the first CD in 1983. Just cause it'll sound WAY closer to the original then any LP ever will and it doesn't deteriorate.

    After this class...I am totally convinced CDs are amazing..and am sad i have purchased so much music via Itunes..

    Oh Man, I get excited when the topic of PF comes up. So much to say. Forgive me. :eek:

    I'll bet I've heard the intro to 'Time' at least a 1000 times, maybe more. Yet each time it surprises me with its power, with its impact. Even when you know its coming. There is something pretty special about that.

    I'm not certain how good the mastering is in the bigger picture, but I have Darkside on a Gold disc. I recall the claim at the time was that the recording surface quality was better plus it would be less susceptible to deterioration over time. I remember paying extra for that.

    Also, have you ever listened to the two albums that followed, Wish You Were Here and Animals. Both are amazing albums.
