    YES! the gold disck is what i am talking about! its totally "unmastered"..mastering is a more modern thing. The Gold disk is a direct copy of the tape. Its the way to go. I am thinking of it..one on ebay i am eyeing..There is no mastering on it. And its one of the first CDs they made. From Japan and 1983. 55 bucks though..:eek:

    i just bought Thriller off Ebay for 7 bucks..the original release CD. No mastering there either. Just Bill's mix. We listened to that album straight through..also..freaking amazing.

    I haven't heard the other albums really..well..not as a whole. Probably will listen to them at some point.

    Don't care..haha id take it if i was close. Rebuild is nothing. same blower as the 2nd gen ones just harder to do maintenance on.

    I always get goosebumps when Time reprises back into the song Breathe. So amazing, especially for being 45 years old like you said.
