Personally i think synthetic sucks. The 1 time i had an encounter with it was when me, gage and that random guy that traveled coast to coast went out in the snow. His synth cable was always bound up on itself and stuck and wedged on the spool. Then it would freeze and he had even more trouble. Nope not for me.

 

Yea plus..drive em of course. Be interesting to see what you like after you drive them.

That's not the ropes fault. That's the owners fault. He didn't install it right. You have to wind the rope under load other wise it does that too the drum.

Get it. $350 is a really good price for that thing. I sold a brand new 95' steel cable with a hook on it and the roller fairlead for $50 on here.

Then buy my slightly/lightly used synth rope with thimble and hook. You will need to add a hawse fairlead to that.

Reviewers say the frs is more edgy then the brz.

 

Softer ride in the brz. Not as responsive.

 

I personally thought the FRS was kind of slow. Definitely more of a cornering car. But this was going from an Audi TT. And the sound system sucked. I don't know of the guy just bought a base model or something though lol
