Exactly! Or not being able to leave a tent up when you just want to chill out in one general location all weekend but would still like to explore with the truck.

Nope, Ill be looking at something similar in size. I am not positive on which company I am going with. I am looking for cost and weight savings. I looked into making one myself but I just don't have the time or know how. I might buy a tipi tent from a cheaper brand and put my own stove jack and stove in it though to minimize cost as much as possible.

 

Not sure how a stove makes it light weight haha

 

Considering you don't have to have the stove to use the tent it gets pretty light. The one I am interested in is less than 5lbs with the stove. That's pretty damn light IMO. It might not be the lightest option but Ill be warm, be able to dry clothes and have plenty of room inside to move around and chill out.

It's not that I don't want to learn. I just don't have the time to invest into a new hobby like that. It also seems like something I would do, realize I suck at it, and then buy the tent anyways haha.

 

Plated batteries just can't stand up to the abuse we put our truck through. Those miles of dirt and rocks take their toll. That is why an AGM is so superior for our application.

 

For a wood pellet stove? Isn't that what you were getting?? Or this a little backpacker stove..

 

Not a backpacking stove but still pretty light and collapsible.
