Eh, it's semi quiet in here.

I'm in Rock Springs today and tomorrow for work. Freaking gorgeous weather to be outside working in!!! Lander is great, house is been a peach thus far and the mile commute to work via bike is awesome. Love leaving the truck in the driveway most days

Fall here is nice I decided. Doesn't get over 65. Not so humid. Trees are changing color finally too. I've have this week off from school so been enjoying relaxing!

Sweet man! Biking is the best. I do just over a mile to school. Some days when it gets super cold I don't like it haha but usually cold isn't so bad. It's the rain that really bugs me. But other then that just been working and relaxing. Even had most this week off work haha

The house bigger or smaller then the old one?

Yea cold biking kinda sucks but you're right wet biking is worse. On the cold mornings I blaze with a pair of ski goggles to keep my eyes from watering like a mother

The house is bigger than the last one but not by a ton. Biggest part is it's ours and we have no neighbors sharing the building. Got a big round picnic table to build this weekend Could definitely use your dads wood wizardry cuz i'll likely jack at least one cut in the octagon haha.

 

Ha! Well I think he comes home next week..not totally sure..sounds cool though. Gotta have a place to eat food off the BBQ haha no neighbors is great. I miss that. Loved that about the trailer house I rented in powell. Was great.

I bought some goggles this year for the cold too haha they are kinda cool actually.

Lots of trees. But it's weird cause I swear one at a time decided to change colors and others just skip that step and just toss their leaves on the ground haha

 

Oh we've got neighbors just not ones that share a wall haha.

Yea I remember that about WI, some years were really good for color where all the trees kind of changed together and some times it happened like you're talking about.

All those things are true and are what makes it an interesting trade off to go with 17s. The reason I would do it would be to be able to run larger brakes. Basically, a 1st gen tundra caliper swap.

Unfortunately, the old redhead has put on a few pounds. The end result is that braking distances are beginning to get up there a bit. In a panic stop situation, it takes longer than I'd like to get her whoa'd down.

I'd get some 17" SR8s with 35x12.5r17 MTRKs if I could afford it ha and also do the tundra brake mod.

 

Monte, got any trips in WY planned for this summer?

 

Not yet really. Besides weekend trips with the locals that'll just...happen haha nothing big anyways.

Tire options for 17s for me are kind of wonky. I am very curious if I could avoid tubbing with a small 34. According to that tire calculator a 285/75-17 is about 3/4" taller and 3/4" wider than my 33x10.5s.

Hmm..idk. If you could push the caster super far forward maybe..I'm sure you'd have to do a bit more massaging with the BFH. Not tubbing though I'm sure.

That's a ways away from all of us. We are pretty much in the northwest corner. But when we go to lander its not a far drive for you. I guess going up to Sheridan and meeting josh and gage then caravanning with them into the big horns.

I'm sure we will do something in lander. At least once. A) it's my favorite trails. B) Marc lives there now C) here are still trails to be explored!
