Thanks man actually i handed my buddy the keys and let him shred a little bit while i did some shooting haha the woman had school.

Haha glad you liked that, i thought they were all pretty fitting

When i have the money to make a Subaru break all 4 loose on dry pavement then it'll be drifting season all the time. Until then winter will have to work.

So got the tipi. Set up took about 10 minutes and I didn't really know what I was doing. Its not pitched perfect but close enough. Lighting the fire was a pain...due to wet wood but I found some dead stuff and about 5 minutes after I got it going I was in a shirt, pants and converse. Not bad considering its -4 right now.

Tipi sounds sweet Gage. Forgot to mention I saw some hunters up on the mountain with a good sized tipi setup. Was pretty chilly and windy but they seemed to be holding up well. Having a stove in your tent has gotta be nice no matter what time of year it is!

Haha thanks man! It was fun to shoot! I was specifically looking for a dude surrounded by a bunch of sconnie babes but that was the best I could do hahaha :D

Yeah, I am pretty stoked about it. Id say its just big enough for 2 people and 2 dogs at most. Ill probably end up getting a larger 6 or 8 man for the truck in the future.

I thought it was a pellet stove not just a wood stove? Or did you just say screw it haha

    Sounds pretty cool though!

Not quiet as big as you'd have liked then..but sounds like it'll work for now

Just a wood stove. Not sure where you got pellets from??

I am actually surprised at the size of the tipi. I can fully stand up in it and I didn't think I would be able to. It also has a large footprint but shouldn't be so big that its hard to find a spot. Its plenty big for me and my needs 98% of the time. Most of my trips are solo or with one other. I just think it would be nice to have a larger one that people can come in and enjoy as well on a rainy day. It always sucks when you get to camp and everyone is stuffed in their own tents or under an awning because its pouring. I wouldn't hike with anything bigger than the 4 man after seeing it.

A cot and a better sleeping bag will be in my future for truck camping. I am pretty stoked to put it to use this weekend with a 20 degree bag in -20 weather .
