I'm not sure why I dislike (not hate) the FJ. Mostly because it seems unecessarily large and has poor visibility. Reminds me a lot of the Hummer. Just doesn't seem practical, in my personal opinion. I don't mind them, just wouldn't own one.

Built ones look sick, I've seen a bunch of them online...

Interesting. I thought the FJC's were doing really well on the market I guess not, unless they are making room in the lineup for something so much better/different that it can't be considered a 2nd gen FJC. Maybe they will dump more money into a 3rd gen Tacoma now I imagine the 3rd gen will be out in 2015. Although I'm not planning on parting with my '05 so I don't know why I care about a 3rd gen. haha

Well I guess I shouldn't tell you that my wife just ordered an FJ. We got to test drive one for an hour the other day. That thing was awesome off road. It handled the dips and bumps like a champ aka smooth as butter. If I wasn't a truck person I would get a FJ. What Monte said is true. The FJ's are stopping after 2014 and the 4R's are stopping after 2016. It is what it is.

I don't even like the 5th gens, I'm stuck on the 3rd and 4th gens. Hopefully there's enough of them out there to last me for a long long long time.

I already know all about it, 4R's are my speciality (compared with other Toyotas)... Pretty ugly - but I can't wait to see an aftermarket bumper for it, I want to see the lines...

How would you even put a plate bumper on there?! It looks like the bumper is part of the grill or something... It would be huge too unless you can tuck it really good, but I'll bet the radiator supports won't let it.

    Again..pass.

The 3.0l v6 is a gutless gas hog motor. 3k is steep too for the mileage. 2.5k is fair IMO if it had a 22re.

    Could always swap n a turbo 22re or 5vzfe v6 later tho.
