telling me things I already know haha.
Well I want to be able to ride resorts and back country, so im not setting up a tent near a resort. And the back country stuff would be accessed by a road anyway. So id rather have somewhat of a base camp at the truck vs hiking it all in. In that case...sleds :D

I wanted the same thing on my Tacoma, but I just didn't have enough room. With the 4runner is more of a possibility with more people and all the gear needed.

Or a snowbunny to warm up with

I am not sure how resorts are but will they knowingly let you camp out? A shell might be better for that. Probably be a lot easier to warm up and keep warm as well.

Not that I am against the RTT for those reasons. I miss having the ability to pop it open on the side of the road when needed.

So I'm currently in Fargo for a trade show and when I flew from Denver they lost my luggage. Damn it. I also travel with no carry on.

Maybe not necessarily right in front of the lodge in the parking lot, but ill bet I could get away with being pretty damn close!

But I think you are right on that one. A big shell might be better...or like a light truck bed camper? Just thinking out loud

kinda like this thing...but its like 13k!!!

I enjoyed the movie Fargo. The accents are awesome.

Yeah, thats a 4 wheel camper right? They get crazy expensive but are pretty nice and there is a huge community for modding them. Plus your 4banger would hate you.

Maybe a flippac would suit you a bit better? They are still crazy expensive though but you could search for a used one. Not sure how much gear you carry but a shell and a platform might be the easiest/cheapest option.

Just having it for winter when roads close. A shell would fill that want far better and one day I will be able to afford one . The tipi is still a better option for actual camping.

Not sure. It will just depend on my summer job. I am going to be trying to get a job this next semester for some extra coin. The summer internships and jobs all seem to start right around the dates they plan for moab.

Is there a group going in the fall? It would be a lot easier for me to plan for that trip. Something about asking your future employer for days off before even working just doesn't sit well for me.

Yeah, not sure if I will go. I want to. Not necessarily with the massive group but it would be a fun experience. I want to do some things other than wheeling though.

If I don't make it this year it will be because of my job. Last year I didn't go because I got Ash and couldn't take him where other dogs were until he was vaccinated.

What ever became of your truck after the wreck? Did insurance take it?

Yeah, I am ok with not running as many trails. I think it would be cool to meet every one and get in on the raffles. Id probably try to either go a few days early or stay a few days later and get some hiking and fishing in.
