I was following the red head today and was still in awe at how amazballs the bumper is..haha

 

Yeah, made it. Was sketch tho. Saw 3 rolled vehicles between Laurel and Big Timber. And some bozo in a Ram towing a small trailer passed me and then just about lost it right in front of me.

 

Nice. Good ole winter interstate driving.

 

There was a 20 car pile up today. I barely missed it. Happened a mile from my house and so I got off the exit. I could hear the ambulance when I got inside the house

 

What time did that happen? My dad came home early from Buffalo today and said they shut the interstate down so he ended up taking back roads home.

Around noon. Probably like 11:30ish maybe. A damn subie flew past me when I was going 50 mph and could barely see 20 ft ahead. Bet they caused it. Damn subie drivers.

 

I plan to do my 3+ clutch and flywheel sat. Should be swell.

I hit a spot of black ice doing 40 on I-90 between Sheridan and Hardin on Monday night. I fishtailed and ended up going off the road, took out a mile marker post and ended up in a snow filled ditch....kicked it into 4WD LO and luckily was able to get out and back up on road. Drove the last few miles to Hardin and called it a night.

 

Don't you put it into 4hi for those sketchy situations?

 

Well...I ended up in billings for a while after I left Powell

I90 was a shit show heading back to Sheridan that night though. Needless to say I had a few pucker moments. Not a drive I would have wanted to make in the truck on KM2's that's for sure haha.

 

Pretty sure that Monte's referrence to RWD was to point out you wont have a choice of 4hi with the FRS.

I kno you kno this so why dance around it?

 

That kind of approach might work in a place like Seattle where it snows maybe 2 times a year, but CDA?

Seems like you will have a summer car and a winter truck because there will be a greater than average chance the roads will be sketchy with translates to not driving the car that day because of no 4hi option.
