I've tinkered with the carb on my bike a few times but i'm no expert. Check in your manual and make sure everything is where it's supposed to be. If you've tweaked your idle or anything make sure it's still in its proper position. Did you have it jetted for your altitude? If not, pick up a JD jet kit online and swap out the stock ones. They made a big difference on my bike.

My wife's 2010 camaro paint is almost mint still. It is the limited edition synergy green. Only made for 45 days. She parks it when it starts to get cold out and it does not come out of the covered storage until the roads are dry and clean. I think she now has about 50,000 miles on it. So if you are patient about waiting until clean roads every year it does pay off

 

Is there a rubber manifold mountbetween the carb and intake? I had a sled years ago that had a few cracks in the manifold and I didn't see it and the cracks let enough air in stopping it from running. Also had another sled that the diaphram in the carb had a hole in it and when that happens it wont start. Sorry I cant think of more........ how about the fuel tank feed? Is it plugged inside the tank. Can you remove the fuel line and have fuel run out?

 

All i know is carb's are finicky MF'ers lol I can't wait to find all the issues i come across when i try and start my bike up for next season.

Dang man, hope ur back isnt bad... gonna likely be sore tomorrow and the next day. 48 hrs is peak inflamation post whatever happened.

 

Prolly should do a thorough inspect on the green machine in the light tomorrow.
