I've been to Canada a few times. All west coast places, like Vancouver and Victoria and Whistler tho. I've always wanted to explore places like Banff and Jasper. Those wont happen this trip but we will get the southern portions of the Canadian Rockies. Should be awesome.

 

This big trip sounds like an excellent time as always! I hope I have a chunk of vacation days unspoken for to make it work. Jen and I would love to get out that way!

Having that one locker in the rear has been a nice little security blanket... but unless you're doing a trail that requires lockers this summer i'd say just save the money man. Pumped to see what you come up with for the rear rack!

ok good evening guys. I have a question. I read somewhere that chevy rear leaf springs will fit on a tacoma rear. Does anyone know if this is true? If so would it work on my 95? Thank you all

I know there is a kit from ruffstuff for a second gen swap to the chevy spring, but i'm unsure about a 95. Actually now that I think of it, Mark did the swap. IDtrucks username

aw then thats isnt worth it really. I just need to replace the rear springs and read it had been done. But I am sure I can find a set of springs and install regular ones. Thought maybe a little heavier spring would work better. Thank you guys I do appreciate it

 

Monte has to be home by the evening of the 21st so he can make it to classes on the 24th. So we worked backwards from there. We will be meeting up in Hood River Oregon. As of right now, He says the earliest he can be there is ~noon/early afternoon on Sunday the 9th of August.

A lot is still up in the air as far as when we will be at a given spot during the adventure but the start and end are pretty much set.

Damn really? Wow. Odd considering stock is 5.5"

 

Yeah its not much though. Its a very small portion and I wouldn't have known had I not seen the shiny spot where the paint rubbed off.
