    O wow, that would be an awesome job. Originally that's what I was aiming for but I have heard it's competitive and you need a masters with a lot of experience to even be considered for the positions. I have since been looking into becoming a Game Warden.

    It's definitely a fun job.

    It's extremely competitive. A masters isn't technically needed, but it's pretty much a minimum for a biologist anymore. I've interviewed people with a masters or PHD applying for a contract position just to get a foot in the door. I just have a bachelors and have actually thought about going back for my masters, but it's kind of tough to give up a permanent position to go back to school.

    Yeah, it would be hard to give up that pay check for a graduates salary. I am keeping graduate school open but I don't see myself jumping right into it anytime soon.

    Yep, I really want to visit that trail again. Be a good stream to fish and I am curious where it actually goes. It never seemed to really stop.

    Idk. Just don't. Probably has to do with having no way to do it to limit oil going back into the shock while also having the other..who knows.

    If these 'adjusters' simply restrict oil flow at one spot, that's lame.

    One of the things Marc taught/showed me about dampening is there is a compression side of oil flow and there is a rebound side of oil flow. Those two things are already separated in the shock.

    Why control oil flow somewhere else with a restrictor (clicker adjuster)?

    Because it's the only place you can. Think about it. You can't have an adjuster on the piston, it moves all the time. So you put it on the resi and restrict the oil flow to it. Simple. And it does work.

    I guess you could put it in the shock by restricting the oil flow through a certain part that the float won't hit, but you'd have a large shock body.

    Oh, I understand, but it doesn't make it any less gimicky IMO.

    Think about it. It is interfering with both sides of the cycle...at the same time. Lame!

    This sort of concept makes way more sense of a non-revalveable shock like a billie or nitrocharger.

    Eh. Id like them on Igor. You can valve it with a flutter stack so it rides great all around then fine tune on the fly. For fast romping turn them up. Daily driving or slow trails turn them down. But because it's fluttered it'll still be good even when it's soft if you do it right.

    The new OME coil overs though I do believe have dials for rebound and compression.

    Just in the most retarded location..

    For me, I see clickers as a weak point. If I lived in a desert with no snow maybe Id spring for them. How well is that little dial going to work after 5 years of nasty winters and road grime? I'll just keep valving my shocks for the one purpose and live with the semi stiff ride on road...

    :laugh:. I say that everytime I attempt something. Painting the bumpers "Fuck, this is a lot more work and paint that I thought. I should have just paid someone". Installing diffs "Fuck, these things are heavy and the cv's wont come out, I should have just payed someone". 35's, "Shit, this was dumb, I wonder if I can pay someone to just do it"
