Probably won't. 6 puck clutches are known for being more like on off switches. The URD one is a very aggressive clutch.

glad its good 96% of the time, haha. Yea man, that's the way that clutch is going to be probly. But knowing how hard you launch sometimes I think you need it haha! especially with the bigger tires and the power your adding?? are you seriously sleeving your block?!

Also, some stoke for the trip across the red dezert ending at Kilpecker. Monte, i've got a wedding in WI on June 13 to be at so we'd have to go before that. When are you back home?

Wow where is that!! Is that part of the route?! It better be! That looks so fun!

Anyways that will be fine. Let's shoot for the first weekend then? I get back the 11th on May. I'll probably use my tax return to buy some shocks for the rear. Then I just need tubing to build the rest. I have everything else. I won't be bummed if I don't get the front gussested before this trip. I just want the bed rack lowered and rear shocks done so I can have a little fun.

    And an alignment..lol

We should have a mod weekend too or day or something before then. I can weld on your spindle gussets and gage can get the UCAs and you can help me rebuild the Kings for Igor.

I only told you multiple times that my job MAY require weekends. Most of it is my supervisor lives in Colorado. So if something goes wrong with the system it will message him. Then he will call me or the other worker to go fix it.

If the mod day is in Powell you can probably count me out. I'm not driving 7-8 hours for that haha. The desert meet I can probably do if I get the weekend off.

Nice Ben! You get that disoriented feeling from the G's at all? So fun, it's like "durrrrrrr" haha.

Yea Monte lets shoot for the first weekend in June or even the last weekend in May if you get ur stuff done early enough. The earlier the better for me since i've gotta take a bit of time that second week of June to go back to WI.

Hell yea that's part of the route! Im seriously stoked to run the route my boss showed me. It goes right through the north of the red desert from Jeffrey city and then over to the Dunes near the Boars tusk. Figured we'd camp in the dunes and build a raging fire! haha

Mod day... just let me know. I could do a full saturday any time after you get back.

Looking all over - trying to confirm for sure if a 1st gen Tacoma CV axles will be okay for my '98 4Runner.

Are they the same? Is one stronger or weaker than the other? Or should I just get an OEM CV for a 4R?

Part number in question: 4343004020 - I have an opportunity to buy two used CV axles from a Taco, and they are Toyota and original with about 111k miles on them.

Cool man. Let's do June. Seriously doubt I'll be done by the last weekend in May.

Nice. Too much power though for a street car. For that exact reason. Why to me 400-450 rwhp is the ideal range of crazy and fun and useful.

Should be fine. I think the taco ones have bigger shafts a bit but that would be the only difference.

I posted this in Monte's build but it can go here too. More stoke for the desert trip.
