I don't keep anything in mine. But I know many that do. Just seems like more material to possibly stink or something.

I don't have the additional straps you're talking about. Just the bungie cords.

i keep my bags in there at all times. One less thing to pack and worry about. As well as a flash light and pillow

Also the 4 bungees on the inside are for the walls. You strech them from one side to the other to help pull the walls in when you fold up the tent. It helps, but you still have to tuck them. I use them.

the bigger straps are handles to help old people get in the tent off the ladder. Mike will tell you how to use it

 

I left 2 pillows, a wool blanket, and a 20degree sleeping bag in mine 24/7 Ben. Nothing stinks and it would be a pita to open it before every trip

 

I have a backpacker pillow. Always just grabbed a real one before a trip and left it in the cab.

Well it wasn't too bad. I tried using launch control with no success. Tried running a couple different tunes. Both failed. Ended up running my everyday one with the best success.

Launch control I had to much wheel spin and axle wrap.

I did end up hitting the 15s so I'm happy(for now)
Beat my buddies supercharged minicooper about 6 times in a row.

nah i did my whole setup for like 500 or so. actually less i think. Most of that was the new battery.

ive wanted to add a blanket for a while. Actually i could easily with the 12v socket in my bed...

i do love the dual battery setup though.

 

This is pretty much what I do. The only time I open it up at home is if I had to pack it up soggy. That has happened on more than one occasion. The only way to keep the bedding dry so mold wont form.

IIRC, our tents a 3" taller than yours when closed. That will impact how much gear you can keep inside when closed.

I think yours is 11" and ours are 14".

 

When I was looking for one, I too was tempted by the aluminum ones but was worried about durability as well as reach (how high it can lift) which is an issue with lifted trucks. I don't know if your car is much lower than the corolla but this is the one I ended up with. Also, I don't think 1.5 ton capacity is enough. Not enough reserve. My $0.02

 

No probably 600 with the alternator.

Get both. We have both. Use them both all the time. The aluminum leaks bad now though. And not even the bigger one will lift Frank off the tires anymore.

yea it does.

4 posts usually have a built in jack that slides in between the ramps. Or a platform for a jack.

besides you wont carry a full sized jack with the car anyways. Or full size spare. Car life. What the shitty bottle jack or scissor jack is for.

otherwise get some wheel ramps and then use the jack in combination to take wheels off.
