    I have to do it next year. I may never get enough time off again in my life and afford it for a long long time.

    I'll be the opposite. I will make literally $0 from my profession for the first 6 months. If I'm lucky...I'll get a job after that. Otherwise. I'll still be jobless and just have to try again elsewhere.

    I'm not talking about if you like your job haha I'm talking about financial stability mr I just bought a new brz and looking to buy a house.

    IMO this is not a summer meet. April/May or Sept/October. In between is too hot. April/May is busy-busy in the Moab area. The rest of the UtBDR may be Ok. That leaves Sept/Oct. IMO...

    This has been the tentative plan for a couple of years now.

    I do agree that running the Rubicon forward and backward will be intense but we will need to figure out some other areas to explore while we are there or to and from. I don't think Death Valley is the answer. I do want to explore Death Valley as well as some other So Cal stuff but like Moab, the summer time is not the time to do DV. The ideal time for thar is January/February.
