    P0135 and P0136 relate to the sensors on the exhaust pipe. They may have messed with those when they dropped the trans. On mine the plug for the front sensor (bank 1, sensor 1) is mounted to the trans, IIRC. That would be a P0135 code.

    Yup, the bank 1, sensor 1 is the one that typically fails first. Some folks will tell you to change both at the same time but I didn't. I bought both but changed only the front one. It is the more expensive of the two BTW.

    After you reset it, did it stay away or did it come back? FWIW, mine failed a 135K so you got another 20K out of the deal.
