Wyoming B.S. Thread

Id assume this week. He contacted me last winter. He and his wife shipped their LC80 over to WA and are driving across the US doing lots of stuff. Started in June i believe. Pretty cool.

 

I get to wheel with an internationally acclaimed expo celeb.

How'd the wiggins treat you man? I've only made it up there once early this summer, pretty pathetic considering its my backyard. This summer evaporated. There are a couple of cool loops you can make back there, if you hang a left right before the first game and fish cabin it will take you over flattop mountain and spit you out at the dump just above town.

 

Didn't make it up this weekend. We should get together sometime yet this summer/fall. Id love for you to show me around back there. Didn't know you lived near Dubois? I'll be up there today actually at the airport.

 

First day of school. Excited and bummed at the same time. I am going to miss the working with the toads but I am pretty stoked for the classes this semester. I ended up dropping a class so I am sitting at 3 classes and 3 labs for a whopping 12 credits (+1 for the summer internship, I have to write a paper for that pretty soon). I figured I will just go volunteer at some labs on campus and gain some more experience with any extra down time. Might be able to even get someone to pay me .

 

I'd love to get out and wheel, I am however home a grand total of six days in September and 2 days in the first 4 weeks of October and none of them weekends. My wife might be er... A little unpleasant if I ditch her and the kids one of my few days int town this fall, I really need to get a first gen DC for such occasions. There are however a lot of passable trails into early December so we should still try and hit some. What brings you to the airport?

How do your Tacomas do around here in the wind and hills. One of my biggest problems with my JK is the lack of power to even maintain speed with hills/wind.

 

I have gobs of power.

Regearing with larger tires and weight helps a lot.

I have no issues now that i got rid of the roof rack and lowered my RTT.

 

Looking at that 06 in Cheyenne just haven't made it down there to check it out yet. I think it'll has 285/75-16s on it.

 

Its a V6 right? it'll be fine.

 

Yeah has the 4.0. Probably wouldn't go any bigger than 33s it has on it. Other than d/d it would mainly be a camping and trail rig save the CJ for the rocks.
