Oh yeah. Now I remember you. You had the heroic fix for the piston through your engine block. My favorite was one of your drivers was seran wrapped to the top of your car for "un-Camry like behavior" lol.

I was on the team with the guy making the movie.

Holy shit. Are you serious? I have been trying to find out who to get ahold of. I know you have footage of us getting out car pull started and running on 3 of 6 cylinders. We had no issues initially running on 4 of 6 dor about 7 laps then came in for fuel and lost another. Thats when we pushed it to the pits and actually pull started in the paddock to get it on the track 2 minutes before the race ended so we technically "finished the race" because we were on the track. Only made half a lap before we were down to 2 cylinders and she finally went kaput. Is there any way i could get a copy of that raw footage?

I will see him tomorrow so I'll find out for you. I'm sure it won't be a problem as long as he still has it.

This is Mt Arter, I'm hoping to get to the peak this year yet. Only about a 3 mile hike from Cyclone Pass.

I love this shot Marc. The composition is amazing. I am curious how you managed it. Not only that view we love but also the great white stallion and its master ...takin' a whiz.

    yea great photos Marc!

Ive been busy as can be. Lots of stuff going on. Trying to decided if i should spend 500 bucks on a DIY 1176 compessor(audio gear). Really want too...

Symphony starts up this week. Between work and other things, been a busy semester.

Well..a new 1176 from UA(original makers of the compressor) is about 2800...haha Its one of the most iconic compressors used in audio. It is a nice kit because it comes with EVERYTHING needed, even the right case for a rack mount.

the LA3A stereo compressor i also want to build is a bit more. But it is also a ledgenadary compressor. And stereo..plus my favorite sounding one ever...besides the 1176.

I was pricing out gear to start my own small studio/location recording rig. Be about 20k..not including microphones :frusty: thats just mic preamps, effects and a RADAR rig.

Life over here has been pretty chill. I haven't had much homework, just a few papers. The majority of my class time is spent outside on "field trips". We went and electro fished a small stream to learn how to properly sample a stream. In invert bio we went to the river to collect a bunch of little critters for our specimen collection back in the lab. In limnology we have been flying around on boats sampling lake water.

This weekend I am heading back to the big horns. This time the gal is coming and we are taking my fathers ATV to ride up penrose and hunt a different area since elk have been relatively non existent elsewhere. Ill be leaving tomorrow afternoon. I haven't fully decided but I think this will be my last attempt for the season and I will take a week off before my deer season opens.

In truck news, I will be ordering the LCE Header kit probably early october. Hoping it will give me the little bit of "umph" needed to maintain speed on some of the hills. I have been catching up on basic maintenance this week. I changed the air filters, PCV valve in hopes my truck quits eating oil and stops throwing a code (p0101 I think), and replaced the aux cord on my stereo finally. Tomorrow I am doing a full fluid change before heading out and when I get back I will check the spark plugs.

My wife and I will be rolling through your beautiful state on Saturday! We are traveling from Denver to Jackson. Plan is to see yellowstone and GTNP and enjoy the last week of bike park season at Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole.
Im wondering which is the better route to take north from 80 (in a first gen). My current plan is to take 191 up and camp at Granite Hot Springs Saturday night before finishing the trip on Sunday. Unless 287 would be a better way to go? Thanks in advance!

    Wave if you see us!

Going over togwotee pass is a great way to go much more to see for only ~20 min extra. I'd go north from Rawlins on 287. Head thru lander to Dubois and then over togwotee to Moran junction and down to Jackson or thru the park to Jackson hole. If you go thru lander let me know, be happy to meet ya! Couple fun trails around here too if you've got time for a quick rip! @manitouyota
