So I looked at a 2016 sr5. The motor is crazy, the header is totally intriguing to me. It comes out of the head in one port... Like there's only one pipe coming off the motor! Interior is nice and that grill isn't much bigger than mine... Pictures are deceiving

Pics are definitely a bit deceiving. The one I saw driving down the road looked pretty dang good from the front.

I'll let you know! The truck is going into the dealer on Tuesday to check out the engine. I am burning way to much oil and that clicking sound keeps coming back.

That's the first photo I've seen of one where the front doesn't look stupid. Idk why.

Odd about the header. It's like they did it all in the head..Huh.

We will have to do that. @WyoTacoma just started his build not too long ago (2 or 3 months), and I've just been trying to get mine to a point where I feel comfortable taking on some decent trails, need to pull the trigger on some sliders and skids.

If Marc and I don't meet up next weekend I would hit it up. Otherwise I won't be able to until probably the following weekend. You guys are also welcome to join for some fishing/wheeling this weekend if we go.

Whatever. Be so easy to turbo. One pipe out already.

Don't let mods hold you back. It's capable already!

that would be the biggest limiting factor, if you were looking for bigger power gains. It may be able to get you supercharger capability, but past that itll be difficult id think.

Be interesting to see if they could machine out the head for individual runners but i see that being too complicated. They really made it a pain for performance with the engine change

Technically yes. But its not flow efficient guaranteed. Theres a reason for top mounts and equal length headers which are all prevented from a "header within the head" that cant be modified

test drove that one today, just to see what it was like, long bed felt weird, but it drove really smooth and quiet, reved a little higher and the interior is night and day better. Service guys were drooling over my tacoma, go out of "talkign numbers" because i dont want a long bed, plus i almost own this 2011 with 34k miles :)

Highly doubt that'll be an issue on a truck.

Still preventing easy stuff like the bolt on headers like marc just put on and gained 17hp. Not saying it cant be done, its just going to leave untapped power and restrict it further
