    Doing a cheapasfah build (1996 Tacoma DLX 3.4L standard cab) and wouldn't mind hearing what all you guys did for sourcing parts for your builds...Anyone do quick disconnects for their sway bars? Trying to make that work this afternoon :facepalm:

    I think we have all just removed the sway bar. Not with the work for disconnects.

    Another 96! :cool:

    I have some quick disconnects but have never used them. Not really a good way to do that. Once you have aftermarket coils just remove it and don't look back.

    A hand that was pushed upwards by the airbag. Also driver airbag just opened up into my lap. Never fully inflated.

    So I came across a Suzuki Samurai today. It isn't in great condition but would be a lot of fun to work on. Right away it needs a battery, rear shocks and it is running rich. The tires are pretty much done and two have a slow leak.

    @$800 I might be picking it up for a project vehicle. Lots to work on and it would be cool to do a budget build that can be beat up. Lizzy has been showing more of an interest in wheeling and if I do get it, wants to work on it with me to learn the basics.

    I am guessing that the linkages the handle moves are binding. May be they are bent or need lubrication. There should be almost no effort required to release the latch. Otherwise the plastic handle takes all of the stress.
