Stealing your lenses once again Gage

 

What Sony are you running? I've been scouting the landscape for a new DSLR as I have the first generation Digital Rebel.

I have a Sony a6000. Same camera Gage has.

 

I'll have to do some research on the a series, I've only been looking at used Canons and a small selection of Nikon's. I guess my next will probably be a canon so I can keep using my lenses.

 

Excited to go and shoot! Hopefully tomorrow after work I'll get some camera time in.

Definitely check them out! I really love the size and functionality of the a6k.

Which Canon lenses do you have?

 

I have been considering making an investment in a really nice full frame cannon lens adapter. That will open of a world of awesome and cheaper lenses for the A6000. Not sure yet, pretty sure a new lens will be purchased before the wedding in december though. If not purchased, then rented (which seems like a huge waste).

 

Blanking on specs at the moment but I know one of them is the standard 18-55 that every Canon DSLR comes with

You know you'd regret it. I go back and forth with my car sometimes too, but in the end it just wouldn't be worth getting rid of...unless if were being replaced with another toy

 

Wait, it's supposed to snow tomorrow? Also, get some snow tires (Blizzak) and keep rippin when safe. You'd regret not having a DD, even I'm searching for a cheapo 2WD truck to have as a DD.

 

Ooh, tell more... Also going into winter is the least ideal time to sell that car, going into spring is best time to get the most money and by then you'll want to keep it again.

Nice, I haven't driven one of those but I've driven some Dakotas and they are pretty comfortable. If I remember correctly they are based on the same platform.

 

I was talking to a friend last night about cars as he wants a new vehicle. Not brand brand new. But the topic came up up on what would you buy if money was no object for an affordable car.

Like something that will be your dd for the next 10 years? Has to be brand new off the lot.
