Care to elaborate? I just noticed it in passing earlier so I thought I'd throw it out there.

1. Exposed diff drain
2. 3/8 thick
3. Inferior hardware (as pictured)
4. Multi piece collar mount - very odd
5. No pinion protection
6. Collar mount bolts to skid.

The Boztek one was at least 1/4 and had a collar mount similar to Jerrys design.

I see hitting that and the whole Skid spinning on the axle with the way the collar mount is a separate piece.

Getting myself in shape - decided I want to climb Devils Tower one more time before I die.

Thanks, I didn't look very close and don't know what to look out for. I guess that might explain why it's almost half the price of the bamf!

 

Nice goal! I'm sure I'll end up there with my brother at some point. But idk. Climbing is fun just not my big forte. Hopefully you make that happen man!

 

No it's not catching on the tank. I will tear the dash apart again tomorrow and try running tests on the gauges maybe. Although seems unlikely that they would fail. Thanks for the response.

 

Yea I mean all the cab grounds are by the kick panels save for a one I think in the center.

 

Regardless of Devils Tower, I'm definitely going to get back out there to wheel with you guys again.

Considering the T.A.C.O Moab trip, but not sure I'd enjoy such a large group. Last time I was in a large group it felt like it was a lot of planning and waiting around and not enough wheeling.

Guess we'll see what else comes up for this Summer.

Haha exactly. Luckily my bike has been holding me over the whole no wheeling. But it's been too long.

 

Yea moab is great. But too many people IMO for a real good time for wheeling.

Found this on TTORA, I had it backwards

If you pull the sensor wire off (High resistance) the meter should read dead cold. If you ground the sensor wire (Low resistance) the meter should read full hot. If your truck does both of those then the sensor is the problem. If pulling the wire doesn't make the meter go full cold, then there's a short to ground somewhere along that wire. Look for a place where the wire rubs against metal.

I agree based on my first trip out there but this past trip when I flew out I partnered with folks in a group no larger that 5-6 trucks. It was fantastic.

 

I'm not going to disagree totally my friend. This past meet I took a day just to solo hike around pictureframe arch - one of my favorite parts of the trip.

Still - meeting up with folks from all over the country is one of the merits.

Check your belts and i bet one is slightly loose.
