I thought that the mtr was better off road (in the summer) than the duratracs. I agree Gage, they are garbage in the winter on road. Typical MT. I'm really excited to get an at and see how they compare off-road to the Mt for the wheeling we do.

I'm hoping the coopers will be a good all around tire, but so far I like them. They are very quite, and seem like they are going to wear forever (still haven't worn all the nubs off.) The last couple weekends we have had some pretty slick roads, but haven't had any trouble. They seem to hold through corners pretty well on ice, better than I though they would. Haven't had much chance to try them in deep snow yet, but when we went out last weekend they seemed to do pretty well.

Right but it's still a tire, so apples to apples imo. Whether it's an at or an Mt doesn't matter on a lot of the terrain we are on imo. That's why I am looking forward to the difference I will see when summer rolls around. I also think the duraTrac is more of an Mt than an at. You engineers and your black and white logic, there is gray area :luvya:

I miss my duratracs, they were amazing in the winter on my old tacoma I could do anywhere offroad for the most part. They were pretty good on pavement as well, only issue was trying to air them down when offroad but I had the heavy duty set. My buddy still has them on the tacoma in the summer, he puts his studded fierces on for winter.

The Relentless Fab setup for sale? I was thinking about it. Probably just buy new some day. Have other things I should probably throw money at before more lights though...

Never thought you'd say this. Curved? Are you still considering making that unit?

Not going to lie. They suck. If your windshield is not 100% crystal clear you can't see shit. The throw is terrible. Wind noise and drag is substantial. The do have two pros. They look cool and work great as work/service lights to pull up and work on stuff. That's about it. Don't splurge on name brand. I have the knock off that puts out same light and i don't have any issues with it.

I hate the look of light bars on most trucks. They have to be built into the roof rack to look good.

Im gonna agree with half of this. The clear windshield things is 100% spot on though, you wil blind yourself. The throw of mine isn't bad at all though,l and I have some no name bar. Wind noise was an issue but i cut small styrofoam strips about an inch in width and stuck them in a few of the fins and it solved the problem, the drag is not even noticable IMO. It looks "cool" but Im not crazy about it, I did my set up as a temporary deal until I got a roof rack, but since theres a big lawsuit going on with Gobi in all that those plans will get pushed back for now. I only use it when im in the middle of nowhere and want some extra light for seeing the trail I am on or for spotting critters at night. Was it worth it? Definitely. Would I go through the hassle again? Prob not.

Agree for the most part on that still.

Yea curved. Found a 400w one. Better then most that are 42" and only 240w. And if I don't like it. I'll gut it and try putting in 50w or 100w led Chips in it.

Not super stoked about it. But I really miss the Hellas. And I know the bar won't be even close to those ore the same spread. I figure the bar on the roof and the Hellas on The ditch brackets I'llpprobably be okay. Be over a kilowatt facing forward at that point.

Can't think of a way to get back what I had though without doing it.

For Tue sides I figure I'll retro fit a 4runner rack like someone did on here and slap some on the sides.

Rear one on the antenna mount with dual lights so I can make the ambers flash for dust lights.
