    That sucks. Sorry to hear this.

    It isn't all that surprising considering what we put them thru. The Prosumer grade 50 and 60Ds just aren't as good structurally and how resistant they are to dust and moisture ingress.

    I think this means we require 5Ds. :cookiemonster:

    So you are certain it is the camera? I've never been a fan of SD cards. Based on what I'm reading about this, the SD card reader on the 60d seems to be a weak spot.

    Have you tried other cards? Removed the battery and the card and restarted with a different battery?

    How much is the Canon camera service? Have you checked it out?

    Yea tried three cards. Only have one battery. And I used compressed air to blast the reader.

    Haven't looked but I'm sure it's at least as much as my lens and that was 130. I can't afford that even. Pretty sure a body is closer to 210. Definitely can't afford that.

    Between this dying and my gopro. Cameras are not doing great in my book

    Did you try formatting one of those cards someplace other than in camera? Should be Fat32 on a PC maybe?

    Some have suggested this can be an intermittent issue. One place I read said that after fully charging the battery, the issue stopped. :notsure:

    Nah keep it man. Having two body's would be handy. Just keep the 10-18 on it since that lens won't work with a FF body anyways

    @Blackdawg noticed you offered a double cab to the turbo guy. You have one for sale? I've been browsing salvage auctions for a wrecked 1st gen double cab. I would like to rebuild one with a 4bt 1kz or 1kd. Looking for one for sub 3k if possible but would pay up to 6 to 7 depending on condition.

    Haha no. I do that as a joke more than anything. Because I know no one wants to do that.

    I do have a double cab, 03, but it's my dd. Worth about twice what you'd want to pay so no :p

    Highly doubt you'll find one under 3k. Possibly 6-7k maybe. But doubtful. Only made for 4 years and not super popular makes them hard to find.

    Yeah sub 3k is ideal conditions I get that. But I can find plenty in good condition for sub 10k. Just hoping to find the right amount of damage that is the borderline of someone thinking its not worth it so it will be worth the effort of a diesel SAS swap. Not really interested in show truck quality for resale just want to build a good wheeling truck that is mechanically sound. Looks are secondary
