It'll only be a 3 day trip anyways. And won't have a date till a few weeks out so be kinda hard for you to join. The summit would be cool though.

I do have a locker now and said Id never go back untill I had one. It would be fun. But there's no way.

 

Yeah, plenty of things do add on top of those 3 days for somebody like me that's never been to Wyoming. But you're right, definitely hard to get time off with such short notice. I have to request off 3 months in advance more often than not...

Yeah, we're trying to get together and just find a cabin while we're there and not pay the fee to "join" the event. I'm hoping the Summit isn't too crowded like Rock Therapy is.

 

Not sure. I mean. That area in general sees a ton of traffic. There were a few groups there when we were there. Hard to find camping there too oddly.

 

Speaking of, do you still want the DSM uppers?

 

Thats an expensive drive for 14 hours? I only spent 700 with all the driving we did of ~4200 miles.

 

Yep, I keep forgetting about them if I can get them over break I could install them. The porcupine job wont workout unless take a semester off. Ill have the garage to myself so the truck is getting some work. I am guessing shipping is probably the easiest/best route?

I would assume so but I don't have a realistic idea of them. Are you leaving for christmas?

 

No it was that much for 14 hours there. 4 days of wheeling. And trip back.

 

Don't forget, rolling the truck and breaking your hand uses a lot of extra fuel.

Have you done Independence Pass? I never have. It's sort of on the way for us.

 

Oh I love that trail! Very similar. Well..it's easier. But just a pretty. You have to hike to the top of monument peak though!
