Nice. Only reason I got 4 days off in a row was because they swapped around my schedule to where I have shorter weekends later on. So really I didn't get any extra days off... Lol

Trying hard not to take any days off right now until the Spring/Summer. Have over 40 days built up.

    40 days? Damn.

Expensive to ski here too. Like super. Only reason I can is I have family with a house here.

Yeah, it adds up quick if you go TDY somewhere for long periods of time. Haven't taken leave since July of 2014 haha
Taking a week off in June for a motorcycle meet, a week or so for the FJ Summit in July, and a couple weeks for the wife's graduation back home in August.

I'd love to go to a real mountain and try to snowboard. We have an artificial slope North of Kansas City that I snowboarded for my first time on. I'm amazed I didn't break anything.

Yeah, we get 30 days per year/2.5 days per month.

As you can tell, it's been a while. Will be putting it to good use soon.

Thats not that bad. I did 6 days with 42 hours of total drive time between destinations. I just knocked them out straight. And we did 11 hours to colorado for 3 days then back.
Snow creek blows (i assume thats where you are talking). The real mountains arent anything like that at all. I need to get back to colorado for some boarding soon.
Right?! Wish we had that much

Yeah, I just hate wasting my time off traveling on boring roads to a destination.

    Yup, it was snow creek.

Well it's not bad for a personnel-ist that works 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and gets all holidays off. I'm not that lucky with one holiday off per year and a different shift every ~6 weeks. Not to mention I worked 13-14 hours a day for 4 months straight this year. So it adds up haha

Overlanding is not the sport for you if you don't like driving

Good luck. Compressor is easy. Locker not so much. ECGS is the way to go for new diffs.

This was the 14th time I've made that trip. It gets old haha

New destinations are fine, especially with mountainous scenery.

Brake clean. Shits great for everything.

Get some electronics cleaner for the solenoid.

I use lithium based moly grease. It's much nicer on o rings and such as it doesn't dry them out.

x2 on what Monte said. And use a dielectric grease for the solenoid and contacts as well.

It's a little more responsive to the throttle it feels like. Like it's not working as hard. How's Wisconsin?

Put glasses on. Got brake cleaner in my eye one time from splash back. That's no fun.
