So I need to at least be able to slide a couple pair of skiis under the board when it is in use, the reason why I want to go above the wheel wells is so that I can sleep diagonal across the top of the platform, since I have a short bed. I know that with a shell it will give me limited head space, but I would rather that than have to sleep up against the wheels wells with my feet up against the tailgate.

I would line one side of the wood with carpet and put a piano hinge in middle. Then build a center support that divided the bottom into two separate storage areas(providing the skis don't have to sit diagonal to fit). Then you could sleep on the carpet side and flip it over to haul other things that might damage the carpet. That's just my .02

Hey Monte, this might seem kinda odd, but I just put it together that you must be Grant's older brother! I went on a few Dano trips with him.

Osram one off eBay. It has fish eye optics though. Pretty cheap too. Good reviews. Will work fine for what I want. I have two hid Hellas and two lf240s for the far distances. This will just fill the void well.

    Rear lt too?

Yea I am his older brother! Haha where you a camper or just a staff guy? He loves those things. Is the director of them now. Or assistant director anyways.

I would have been staff this year, but unfortunately because of work I was unable to go. Grant just graduated this past year, right? He is a year older than me I'm pretty sure.

Not sure just yet. GF will be driving it for now. Prob nothing for a year or so. But if money didn't matter I would lift, SAS, manual trans, RTT, armor and all the little things for an expedition rig. Maybe engine swap too. Just make it an all around reliable trail rig, not do so much with adding HP.

Nice. Prerunner in winter will...suck haha but be a nice truck otherwise I'm sure.

If you want a front diff and shit there's a tacoma frame at a local junk yard with all that shit I think. 5speed too. V6 too. But some of the motor stuff is missing.
