This. I may have gotten my degree, but it was my first hand experiences and work that got me the job I have now.

Guys, im not gonna lie. At this point, I am going to defer to you on trips. I'm not even sure i'll be able to make any this year so you plan whatever and maybe I will join. @m3bassman @Digiratus

 

Get it! I could only imagine how competitive that internship is. How many positions?

Insane competition. Can't imagine the amount of applicants for it. But I'm confident However, puts me in an odd spot if the Tippet Rise people want me to commit ASAP. Because if I got the Capitol gig I'd really want that over Tippet I think.

 

That would be a great place to intern for your resume.

I had another recall noticethe other day. It said if the seatbelt mount bolts are loose then the whole assembly will be replaced. Turns out I need new assemblies. I think I may have a plan...

Yea I'm going to. The guy called me today and I told him about Capitol and he was cool to have me apply to it. Tippet rise sounds pretty sweet though. Would also be super cool to do all summer

What are you guys running for batterys? Need 2 new ones. Gonna get new contacts for them as well. Seem to keep building corrosion at a ridiculous rate.

 

Good hump day, got out for a hike with the pup after work.

My brothers bed in his truck rusted through under his rubber mat this winter lol. Like a 2x2 foot hole above where the muffler is. Surprise surprise the muffler was leaking causing extra moisture build up there.

Die hard platnum. I recently got a Ctek battery charger and will report if the work as advertised. Supposed to be able to bring a battery back by running some cycle that shakes build up off the plates. I've got a few at work I'm gonna test it on.

 

Im not as worried about getting the kind that is gonna survive a nuclear war since im already running two. But since the runner sits more then it gets driven right now I need to get one thats gonna last. Ill check into those brands tho

 

Unfortunately the Die Hard brand has been discontinued. So whatever stores have left on the shelves is it...

Yeah, Absorbed Glass Mat batteries are the way to go. They'll last longer than a wet battery and never have all those corrosion issues.

I just picked up 2 northstars in a group buy here but I've used Optimas for years. Odyssey (the company the made die hards for sears) is another good one. Its true tho, you will pay more for AGM type batteries but you get what you pay for.
