Mine figured out what a supercharger and turbo are..pretty much in the sense that it makes it expensive and fun. She wants me to have them lol. Its a nice bonus ben.

 

Thanks! I am still in awe that I actually got it. I think when it gets warmer I'll grind the whole thing down and touch up all the welds, it looks like the person who welded it didn't have enough heat and there is a bit of porosity in some of the upper tube welds. It may have been someones first real welding project. So after going over the whole thing with the MIG I'll decide if I want to chop the light hoops or not. I like the center hoop but I think I might just want brace tubes like Monte has.

Also somewhat surprisingly it did nothing to make my stinkbug stance any worse, it did settle the bumps down a bit though.

BTW, that is not doing it unassisted. In that case, I installed my Relentless with a winch all by myself...with the help of a forklift.

Ran the new battery charger on the truck the last two days. Fired up extra snappy tonight. Gonna test it on the dead ones at work this week. It's a "smart" charger and handles agm well and can recondition a battery by causing minor gassing in the battery to loosen deposits on the plates/mats.

Might be something to put on Frank @Blackdawg since he sits so long and is dead every time. For long periods the charger only charges when the batt dips below a certain voltage unlike trickle chargers that can overfill...

Gf and I just went, and in the first 10 minutes i was like omg yes. The intro credits are hilarious even. I do hope they do a sequel with cable. Cable is a BA, and the banter they do back and forth in the comics,a nd even the video game is great.

 

Yea. It also has a cold mode for when it gets below freezing. It claims to work down to -22f.

 

The cold part is what sold me since that's when i need it the most is in the winter. they also supply lots of fancy OE brands like ferrari, lamborghini, audi, bmw, alfa with chargers that go with the car when you buy it. They must be doing something right if those kinds of brands are giving you one with the car. Cost me 80$ on Amazon and so far im impressed with it, it's currently chewing on a dead one at work so we'll see how the recondition function works... It's just a battery charger but it seems to work as advertised so far. It's small too.

 

This would be handy if I had a garage to park the runner in since its parked most the time now.

 

Marc, who did you buy this from? Was it an Amazon seller?

I've been considering an MUS 4.3 which says its good for -4F*, but the 'polar' is rated at -22F* and a little higher max amp output too. 4.3 - 5.0. Other than that they appear to be the same. Still a full 8-step with the analyzing and reconditioning steps.

No, not quite.

The one listed in the GB was NSBC7 which is comparable to the CTEK MUS 7002, a 7 amp charger using their (slightly) older technology.

Besides, I wasn't ready to buy one then. IIRC, Mike was offering it for $95.
