Since there are a few in Laramie wanting to do something locally, I guess it's best if we get both.

For those in Laramie... how's Saturday Sept. 3rd sound? I'm thinking of heading up to the trails in the Snowies Saturday whenever anyone else wants to. We can get back to Laramie and meet up that evening at the Library for some drinks/food/pool.

As for everyone else... How's Sept. 17th - 18th for some wheeling/camping work for everyone? Is a later date better?

As for a location...does anyone know if the Lander/Riverton area has decent trails?

brettb, I don't know anything about the Poison Spider area... can we wheel there or is it strictly for ATVs and the like?

Damn, Labor Day weekend is opening Elk season for archery... wouldn't miss it for the life of me. Sorry man. Wish I could. I don't know about the weekend of the 17th yet, I'll have to check to see when I bartend. A meet & drink would be do-able for us UW-ians I think on a Thr, Fri, or Sat night...?

Well crap, I forgot it was Labor Day weekend. I'm horrible about remembering holidays. Honestly, part of the reason I was shooting for that day was because my ex-wife has visitation that weekend. Having full custody of a 3 year-old makes it kinda tough for me to go to a bar or something.:D
We can do whatever day works best for as many people as possible.
I just moved to Laramie, do you know of anyone that would be willing to watch a kid for a few hours? haha

    Bump. I need feedback people!:D

Should I make it a later date so we have more time to figure this out?

I'll do some hunting on other forums and maybe ask the Forest Service to see if there are any trails in the Riverton/Lander/Casper areas.

For you guys in Laramie, since I forgot it was Labor Day weekend, how about we bump the meet to Thursday the 8th?

Nonetheless, I'm headed to the Snowies on Saturday via WYO130 if any of you fuckers want to come. haha

My cell is 3072149414, I'll probably head out around 10am.

Still trying to figure out a good place for the larger meet. (is that an oxymoron?:D) I think it's best that I find a good location before throwing dates out there. There's GOTTA be some good wheeling/camping in the Wind River range... hell, if all else fails... find some good camping and go exploring the Forest Service roads.

You guys in Laramie missed out!:D Weather was perfect today for wheeling at Libby Flats. It's a nice trail for stock trucks.
