Yeah, I'm trying to decide how to do that.

I'll definitely be driving through Nebraska one way. Wanted to go through Colorado, but it might now be worth having to drive through Kansas... Haha

Might just say screw it an go through Nebraska both ways. Basically just drive from home through Nebraska to the meet-up spot, then to Yellowstone, then back through Lander across Nebraska to home.

You won't see a lot of cool stuff on I70 in CO or I25. Some mountains i guess..but..won't be that close to them. And Denver traffic is HORRIBLE. Holy shit. haha

but, if you have time to kill im sure you could find somewhere there cool. Nebraska still sucks..haha

Haha yeah, which is why I'm doing the drive over the course of 2 days instead of one. Try to make it a little easier on myself.

Also, where is the end-point (Goose Lake) at so I can get a reference of how to go to Yellowstone from there.

I can't see your exact route into Wyoming but I'll show you how I would travel for this trip in an hour or so.

Goose lake ends right out side Cooke City, the Lulu Pass road or Daisy Pass road. Just a sec ill show you.

either way, you just head toward cooke city and just keep going into the park at the North East entrance.

Id be amazed if you LCAs when un touched. But then again..first time i did it was half in the dark so..little fucks were given..and second time..didn't care as i had armor haha

but yea, i watch the sliders do their job

I would drive straight through kansas, turn at denver, goto cheyenne then take the i80 west towards laramie. Depending on how tired he is I would camp in vedauwoo or drive straight to snowy range and camp there. Then continue through to Saratoga and connect on the I80 again. Then take seminoe road through to casper. At that point he could go to sheridan and over the big horns (amazing drive through), head toward riverton and up to yellowstone or even to powell.

Something like this. This is going to be a bit longer probably as mountain roads are normally 40-50 mph and quite a bit of Seminoe is a dirt road.

If he went up to sheridan would be dumb to go to riverton haha just go to powell from there.

going over the big horns would be cool though.

I am saying that at casper he has those 3 choices. I would goto sheridan personally. The i25 starts to look good at that point. Straight drive but driving up on the big horns is awesome. He can also link up with Josh and I at that point depending on the day and work schedules for us. He could probably shower at my parents place if he wanted as well.

Subbed! Unfortunately won't be able to make any of the mid summer meets, but will keep my eye out for a Sept or Oct meet, as I think that's my window to head up there. Looking forward to drooling over your pics!

Man that's a lot of driving. I am not sure how the drive is from casper to riverton. Also, just a slight tweak to get you on seminoe road. With this its only an extra hour to go up to sheridan and cross over. That drive through the big horns is awesome man. That's still a lot of driving though!
