Right. I was just curious what the Alibaba vendor's shipping costs were with a unit cost of $55.

 

Crazy how eBay is cheaper than a bulk order.

 

I know. Makes me wonder where their supplier is: here or mainland China. Seems like I should be able to get a big crate full for $500.

 

Just fyi. I received another email from the Alibaba vendor.

"I checked with another freight company, 10 pairs recovery tracks, shipping cost by DHL is $462, takes about 4-6 days to arrive. By UPS is $455, no need pay customs tax, takes about 7-9 days to arrive."

With UPS, it's down to $100.50 a pair. Not bad, but you would have to find ten people in your area to participate to avoid paying individual shipping charges.

 

How is $100.50 not bad when eBay is still cheaper and you don't have to go through all the hassle of finding 10 people? Sounds like you are just wasting your time.

 

It seems you're wasting your time replying to my post. I said not bad, not the cheapest. It was just for information. I'm not trying to convince people to participate. I don't think it would be difficult to find ten people if the price was right.

And I'm lying in bed reading email before I get ready for work. Not really wasting time. You shouldn't concern yourself with what other people do with their time.
