Have you ever put anything in there?

I just put an 01-04 console in my truck and I don't ever think I'll use that space

I havent used it yet, but i definitely want to keep it available because i will probably want it for something down the road. Its cool though i think I can just take a chunk out of the box and it will be golden

I really like the first design, very clean looking plus I like how the seats can still go all the way back. I want to re-do mine so that I can recline all the way back...

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
The setups I had in my truck:
JL Audio 12W7 in a slot ported box...it was really unsafe and unstable but it slammed:
    DSCF1022_3e9192d09b4d3ea419cec7695f786c8e8889a306.jpg
JL Audio 12W3 in a sealed custom fiberglass and wood box...worst mistake stepping down from a 12W7 but safe and I needed the rear jumps seats when I was with my current GF who had two kids of her own:

Two JL Audio 13TW5's in a sealed box...broke up with her and said f**k I miss my 12W7 but don't want a box to crush me so I got rid if the rear jump seats and got these:

I am thinking of putting a Image Dynamics ID8V.3 in my truck, and I want to put it in a sealed enclosure that doesn't take up much space. I thought about the cubby hole mod, but I don't really want to tear the back of my truck apart. I'm thinking of some ideas on what I Should Do. I don't really need that much space for it, (Maybe like a half a cubic foot or so), but I Would still live to have the elevated part of my back seat level so I can haul guns/people around. Anyone have any suggestions? I thought about a box that was over the transmission hump, but I'm not really sure. Thanks!

I have a shallow mount box behind my seat (it was designed to fit behind the seat in a regular cab truck) and can still physically fit 2 people back there (obviously only 1 seatbelt though). I was gonna get the center console one like in the OP but nobody can fit behind me when I'm driving anyway and at the time I only needed space for 3 people including myself.

Putting this here so its on the internet in case of phone explosion. Previously I had a low profile design that elevated the back seats only about 4 inches with a 12" facing downward behind each seat. 0630171750.jpg

Looks awesome. What are you like 3 feet tall ?? Is that a 15 or 12? Do you have a picture or the old box? I was thinking about going that route. With a down fire 12 .

Thanks, it's a 15" Dayton, enclosure was designed using bassbox for maximally flat response... no I'm 6 feet lol, why?

Old box is in the attic. I want to go back to it so I can get more room back there so I'll post once it's refurbished. Also, I don't recommend having rear speakers so close to your head. It's impossible to get good imaging.

It just looks like you seat is pretty far forward. Id like to hear those 12's when you get them back in.
