Thought about it but I want the gloss black to match my paint. I think it's a matte plastic yes? Thanks for listening.. Lol
Still very tempted by your grille. Ship to Canada?

Yeh I’d love to do another group order. I can ship to Canada for the added cost no problem.

Any idea how much more that runs? This is literally the first aftermarket grille I've thought is worth the money. Reminds me of my 89.

I'm trying to figure out the most economical carrier to ship to Canada.

If anyone has some suggestions on shipping from mainland to Canada for the best price I would love to know.

My guess is an extra $15-20, could be more could be less.

If you send me your address in a PM I could do a little research myself.

Also here's a pic of what the grille looks like with the mesh mounted. (my grille is the first prototype out of the mold so some of the cut lines are not quite exactly like the perfected prototypes.)

I added the black TRD logo for a subtle touch.

The mesh might be a way to mount the TSS sensor.

I will be buying one as soon as I get my tonneau cover. The design is great, very sleek.

The price is right on, I will happily pay a couple extra bucks for a product thats made here in the USA. Dollars to doughnuts the fit and finish on this will be way better than any faux grill.

    Be in touch soon Travis!

Only issue with the Mesh I could see is it doesn't protect the TSS and I've been told that that is an extremely costly thing to replace. I think you would still need to find a way to protect the face of the TSS.

But that mesh actually doesn't look to bad... It may be a pain to get bugs out of though lol

A small clear piece of plexi-glass or lexan cut to fit the size of the sensor is what you need to protect it.

yup, it doesn't even really have to be clear, if you look at the Garnish piece on the Pro grill its just solid plastic.

There also might be a way to mount the sensor directly behind the badge area. That way the badge area protects the sensor and holds it in place.

That would be cool, but would more than likely need a recal of the sensor. And I wonder how putting the Tacoma lettering would affect it...

There's probably a way to have it so the mounting point of the bracket would be behind the emblem but the bracket would have an L shape to allow the sensor to be below the badge area. This way the sensor would still be in the same location.

On the OR grille, the sensor is dead center behind the emblem. On the Pro grille, it's down low underneath the emblem. Either there's some flexibility in placement, or there's a different calibration for Pro vs OR.

Which ones do you have? The set I got has the sticky tape preinstalled.

    15-20 is no sweat.

I'll sign up for the preorder in two weeks (payday) if you're willing to get things rolling!

I'm going for a super simple, easy to install, and economical way to incorporate the TSS sensor into the grille.

Seems like as long as there is no metal in front of the grille or serious blockage and as long as the sensor is at 0 degrees it should be good.
