Thanks, based on the interest I've gotten on this thread the pricing should be able to cover everyone who will actually pull the trigger on purchasing the grille/mesh. I will be giving everyone a heads up and a time when I put them up on the site.

So far the testing has worked really well like this. The sensor does sit directly behind the lower bar on the grille. Also not sure if you can tell or not but there is a piece of acrylic in front of the sensor to prevent rocks, bugs, etc.

There is no acrylic in front of this sensor as this mesh was just a prototype but to give you an idea of where the sensor will sit check out the picture below.

This grill is so clean! It has serious potential to become the best looking aftermarket alternative out there in my opinion!.

With the sensor set up like this, the bar in the grille doesn't effect the way the sensor works? I like the way its coming togeher!

Thanks, after testing we found out that as long as there is no metal in front of the sensor, it's at the same pitch and yaw/angle, and the plastic is not super thick, the sensor will work fine. Since the grille insert only serves as aesthetic purposes it's not thick enough to have an effect on the sensor. The sensor has worked as it's supposed to during the testing.

Seems like the sensor in the stock grille bascially works the same, it's mounted behind plastic and acrylic in the emblem.

@watkins303 do you still plan to make the metal mesh w/o TSS available stand alone for those of us to have already purchased and received the grill? Assuming yes, when can we expect to place the order and what will the cost be?

Given the issues I had with the first round of TSS mounts I think I will try and make my own. I'd also like a piece of mesh without the TSS cut-out. Would love to be able to try this grille out without getting a bunch of errors.

@salmonmigration thank you for the feedback. I took your issue into account on the new design of the bracket. Seems like on the first design the sensor didn't fully allow water to drain out and the acrylic might have been too thick. Whether you want one with or without the cutout is fine with me, we can work out the details in a PM.

Yes, I made quite a few without the tss window. Since it will be shipped individually and I don't think my website will allow you to only purchase the mesh by itself so we'll have to work it out via paypal, I'm not sure on pricing yet since it won't be combined shipped with the grille, will get back to you soon though.

I hope we have enough for lowest pricing on GB. My wallet is waiting.

    Mesh with TSS

To be honest I was gonna wait and see if people have issues with their TSS, but I will probably just buy it and report my experience.
