    gotcha. that is a perfect solution! unfortunately they are out of stock dang it. I have had the grille for 6 months, but haven't installed it because of this issue.

    '20 TRD Sport Previous - '14 Prerunner Access Cab
    Hi guys. New member here. I'm replying to this mostly because I want to subscribe to the thread (if I get figure out how!). I emailed Travis and I can confirm he's out of stock. His reply was:

    "I am working on either restocking them and will have some inventory soon or I am considering changing up the design on these to better incorporate the TSS."

    This is the grill I like the best. I had a mesh grill on the '14 I just traded in for my '20. All the similar mesh options have that stupid box for the sensor that completely changes the look. Can't get beyond that to order one of those and I don't want the same Pro grill so many already have.

    Hopefully he'll start making them again before I bite the bullet on a different one. Question: Does anyone have "TACOMA" instead of "TOYOTA" on theirs? If so, where'd you get it? I've been searching and can't come up with the same dimensions. I want the badge to be Tacoma and I want to color match it to my matte bronze rims. I thought that would flow nice on a white truck.

    Interesting! So this remounts the TSS system to that upright in front of the radiator, instead of being mounted to the grille mesh??

    Yes this mounted the TSS behind the grill on the middle support bar . Driving ever day the past two weeks in rain and sun shine with no issues so far . Everything on cruise control works as well .

    Do you see any issues in the quality of the 3d printing, or worried about how long it will stay together with the daily temp changes?

    Haven’t seen where there could be a problem . It’s pretty much a sandwich . The TSS is in between two parts and bolted together . Found this part as the tundra guys have been using this for a while to run grilles with out tss mounts .

    Been looking around for a new grille insert and like many of you, have found what they are looking for. I was debating on the SR OEM grille or the TRD pro grille for my new truck, but this X-Trek grill takes the cake IMO. Now I gotta save for another mod... maybe in a month or two... or three lol. I would love to see this grille with a dark matte gray emblem on a cement taco if anyone's got one.

    Do you have the mesh behind the grille? Not really digging the cutout and clear acrylic shield in the front of the TSS, and would rather go this route and have the mesh complete throughout the grille.

    Bump, still love this grille. Have had it for close to two years. Definitely sets your truck apart from all the other pro grille wearing Tacomas in the area.

    Hey sorry for responding so late, I wasn't getting notifications for some reason.

    Anyways these will be back in stock sometime soon I'd like to say in the next month or two. I'm trying to tweak the grille design slightly so that the 2018's and up can basically use this grille without having to purchase the mesh option.

    I might start doing a preorder if anyone would be interested, please let me know.

    Howdy....i threw in my grill recently n thought I’d share. First mod lol. I mounted the tss behind the meaty part of the outer grill using the inner mesh by cutting a square in the mesh. Hopefully that is protection enough? i was gonna bolt it, but zipties seem quite sufficient. It hasn’t missed a beat. Also painted the chrome bezel to match the cement.

    @watkins303 - The grill should work with minor modification on a 2020 (with the sensor and camera up front)? Assuming so, I’ll likely pick one up once back in stock. Looks great.
