Don’t know about the 360 camera but I’ve got an aftermarket one IMG_1485.jpglike I’ve said before don’t use this hardware…
I just drilled hole through and gave it a good fender washer. IMG_1486.jpg

Yea the hardware for the TSS started to rust on mine. I replaced all the hardware with stainless. Also gave those 4 exposed bolts 2 coats of paint/primer to maintain the look.

Does anyone run a 30” Onx6 light bar behind this grille?

I currently have the TRD Pro knockoff version with the SDHQ dual mount and Onx6 30” that I’m looking to keep running but I’m not sure the openings on the X-Trek line up very well with the SDHQ mounting points. From eyeballing it, it looks close but hard to say for sure. Also a little concerned that since this grille doesn’t stick out as far as the Pro knockoff if I’ll have enough room to mount this particular light bar since the Onx6 requires a little more depth than the average light bar. I have a 2016 so no front sensor to worry about being in the way for the lower opening.

Love this grill, but I have a question regarding the TSS placement. Does the grill (with mesh) come with everything needed to relocate the TSS sensor or is there a separate bracket/parts y'all are using to get it to work properly with the install?

This is the the only grill out of the three/four I’ve had in this truck that I actually had tss issues with. But after a hundred miles or so it fixed itself.

I recently bought a used X-Trek, along with the chrome trim, relocation bracket, and Toyota emblem. Took my time sanding/priming/painting the chrome piece and I think it came out pretty decent.

Disconnected battery before starting install and (so far) had a few minor issues with TSS. Suddenly turns off cruise control and warns to clean sensor, then warning stops. Happens infrequently, so I'm going to drive it as is for a while and see if the warnings stop on their own.

I drove mine for a while and it told me I had sensor problems. Made sure it was tight and secured. After a little bit I forgot and it stopped. TSS works on it. I have had real world moments when it told me to brake. It doesn’t happen often for me, I tend to keep my distance from people.

Same here—stainless is the way to go. Changed to stainless after the originals caught some surface rust and haven’t had any issues for over a year now.

It isn’t as purty as all black but now I don’t have to be concerned about rust.

Hey Tacomaworld, just wanted to give an update:

I know the website has been down for a little bit as I've had some projects that have taken me away from X-Trek for a moment. The temporary link in the meantime should work for now if anyone wants to order a grille.
    https://watki127.wixsite.com/x-tec/products

I am very low on inventory for the 2018+ grille and only have a few left in stock.

(I do have some blemished 2018+ grilles available if anyone wants one at a discount, let me know and we can work out the details. I also have some extra 2018+ metal grille meshes laying around if anyone wants one separately let me know.)

When I sell out of the 2018+ models (which will be soon) what I am going to do going forward is just sell the original grille style that does not have the TSS mounting bracket at the bottom of the grille and for those that have a 2018+ Tacoma can order separately a TSS relocation bracket like one in the link below.
    https://www.ajtdesign-llc.com/online-store/TSS-Relocation-Bracket-10052B-p194252238

The AJT reaction bracket will not work in conjunction with the metal mesh on the 2018+ grilles. So if you have a 2018+ Tacoma you can still use the grille but will have to use your own plastic mesh behind the grille.
