I have a brand new in box x-trek grille, i got the non tss model because i did not like the look of the garnish so i picked up the ajt relocation bracket for the tss sensor included. The letters are off a trd pro. You would just need to drill the holes and mount it with supplied screws. I chose to go another route everything is new i probably spent about $300 my loss is your gain.

I imagine one has to drill several small holes for each letter and try to keep the holes level? Is there a template?

Yes would need to drill the holes and attach it to the grille. They sell the grille without any branding for copyright. Most guys choose a one piece Toyota emblem that is a little easier to install it was like 30 bucks but it’s a flat look I wanted to go for raised letters. You can see it in the thread I posted. There’s no template my thought process of mounting was spacing them putting a dab of nail polish on the posts and pressing them in place to show where to drill the holes. You definitely have wiggle room to make the hole a little bigger and center the letter

No problem it’s a killer grille but I’m going to be trading the truck in January so no sense of installing it.
