xbox fans- MW3 OR BATTLEFIELD 3

Nothing cheers me up quite like getting nukes with One man army grenade launchers.

storyline - Modern warfare
multiplayer - battlefield

I’m a huge fan of the modern warfare story, but on the flipside, the multiplayer goes to battlefield. I have never played a game where the map actually takes on battle damage. building crumble and fall down, crates blow up, doors and walls disintegrate, you can’t beat that.

 

ill get both but ive been a call of duty fan forever so i'll probably play that like i have no life

 

I didn't really enjoy BF3 online.


Campaign was fun though, but too short.

i played the beta for BF3 when it was open and loved it. picked up the game on friday, and finished the campaign earlier. now off to playing online. cant wait.

I was a hardcore mw2 online player before this, we'll see if it changes here in the next few weeks. Im already disliking the reviews ive read on mw3, so im neutral for now.

 

What don't you like about the new stuff in mw3?

 

the idea of the killstreak packages.

Yea, on PC. I've been playing the COD series since the first Modern Warfare. Black Ops was a complete failure and I had somewhat wrote off the notion of even buying MW3. My cousin and a few others convinced me to...it's graphically the same, if not worse, and just nothing new. I played some of the new game modes but when it comes down to it, it's all basically TDM. The servers drop connection quite often and I hate when a host can quit and cause you to lose all your points acquired during a game.

I would be fine with this game had I not played BF3 for the two weeks prior to the release of this. BF3 incorporates team work, strategy, vehicles, no gay ass kill streaks or perks, and is just a much more balanced game. BF had its share of issues upon release but the servers are dedicated once a fix is made, it's permanent. I also don't like how the COD franchise is milking players by letting you buy Mountain Dew for double xp, or purchase Elite so you can get unlockables and perks that others cannot.

To each his own on this one, but my choice is made!

Edit: I play COD on PS3, not PC. BF3 however is on PC.
