Picked up a pratically new XD 40 this morning from a guy for $350. Can't wait to hit the range and fire some off today. Tomorrow I'm taking a CCW class so that should be fun.

Yea it worked out perfect since I was going to take the class on Sunday anyway. A guy posted this up last night on a forum because he needs the cash. I was just in time because a couple people wanted it.

great price and i love the xd but you may want to look in to some thing smaller for an everyday carry. most people find that a full size gun is uncomfortable to conseal all day. I carry a Ruger LCP while im at work and a Kahr PM40 when im off. http://www.kahr.com/PA-1_40sw_pm.html Oh and might i suggest a hoster for you also http://n82tactical.com/n82store/ it is by far the best holster i have ever owned.

I highly recommend a Crossbreed Supertuck or Quickclip. They are by far the most comfortable and concealable holsters I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. Not to mention that The owner of Crossbreed currently owns the XDTalk.com website.

I got one for my wife's brother for Christmas and I really like it and will probably pick one up soon. The Supertuck I stupidly traded away was sooo comfortable and thin...I miss it.

I posted this in the Tech chat too but figured I throw in this thread. My buddy gave me a lock box and it fits great behind the rear seat.
