I picked up a pair of H10 xenon HID look bulbs. 12v 100w. I was wondering if it was safe to replace my stock fog lights without melting my harness or doing any type of damage to my wiring.

what is a 'Xenon HID look' bulb? 100 watts?!! Our stock fog lights are 35 watt halogen... if you put a 35 watt HID bulb in there it will be a zillion* times brighter and only use the SAME wattage!

    * okay, about five times. ;)

Even a 55w is too high?
