So I just ordered two sets (h11's and h9's) of 6000 Kelvin hid's from xenonhids.com with the 35w slim ballasts and relays for my tacoma. Searched the thread search but didn't really get the information that I was looking for. Does anyone have any experience with this company and the quality of their product? My kits are supposed to be here Monday. 25th Feb. Thank y'all in advance . 2017 tacoma.

They were regarded well here on TW. They recently were purchased by The Retrofit Source. I believe they no longer offer the 4300k German made Phillips bulbs. I have them and love them, super bright.

Oops, you bought from xenonhids. I quickly looked and thought you bought from xenon depot. Disregard my first post.

Read here on why HIDs are meant for our type of headlights without a proper retro fit. They actually don’t put out as much light as a halogen bulb. Welcome to tw

Yes up close they do, but not out at distance. And yes blinding on coming drivers is the nicest thing in the world

You’re right my bad I was reading the wrong chart. Sorry for the mistake. I can admit when I was wrong.

Kinda wishing I had have gone with the 5000K to get a brighter white. Hope the 6000k will be adequate.

I wanted them to closely match the LEDs I had in there which were 5500k which I thought was a 1000% improvement over the halogens. But these HIDs definitely throw the light farther. I'm very pleased with them.
