How? Enlighten me! If you manually shift into first the transmission is not going to act like it's in second

Just stick it in manual 1st gear and it'll stay there . No need for fancy shit . If you stick it in 2nd gear you'll be fine it will down shift to 1st gear when it needs to . It's a wast of money and time . Making shit way to complicated . Hell if you would've just but that jeep together and not worry what people were saying and trying to keep up youd be Wheeling that shit already

Rather hold it in 1st gear. I’ve rode in one with some buddies and it does a lot better than you think.

It's a Jeep thing. You got me there. Who know Chrysler would get lazy and make 1/2 the same spot.

Say it starts after it starts. That's like me saying I'll bring the buggy to Ure this weekend when I haven't even heard back on the transmission. I read the Jeep thread last night. Stated it would be done 12 times 9 months ago. You feeding us false hopebro

Well it may start this weekend if all goes to plan and nothing is messed up since it’s been sitting forever.

Don’t blame you. I just fabricated a little bracket, modified the XJ console to mate up with the TJ one so I didn’t lose my beer holder.
