XM radio changing stations

The last week or so my XM radio has changed stations randomly a couple times while driving. Has this happened to anyone else? I got 61k miles so I'm past warranty if something is wrong with my head unit unfortunately.

 

Mines done that but switch’s to 0 I think which is their advertised channel.
Seems to do this after losing signal in my garage.

 

Mine has gone 1 channel up or down I'm not sure from whatever channel it was on. Never had it do it when it loses signal from pulling in my garage. Weird.

 

Try reaching out to SXM support, and ask them to refresh the signal to your truck. Sometimes it can help with channel and reception issues

 

My 09 Tacoma base AM-FM radio used to change channels and shut off randomly. They replaced it early on but still did it randomly. I always suspected that the steering wheel control switches may have had something to do with it.

Never happened to me in 6 years of XM

 

I never have had random channel switching happen. You might try unhooking the Negative battery cable for a minute. Next I would check the connectors for looseness on the back of the head unit.

 

The only time mine would randomly change is when I used the volume control knob on the head unit.
I would accidentally touch a different channel.

 

Interesting...my 2023 Off Road has just started changing XM channels randomly within the last week. Goes up or down one channel just once on a 20 minute drive, but not every time I'm out, so far. Considering that it is recently happening to other members here would lead me to believe that the problem might be on the XM side not the radio.
