XM setting reads "No iPod connections"

2013 Tacoma PreRunner

I installed XM into my 2013 AC about a year ago using a tuner, Gateway interface and harness purchased from xmfanstore.com. It's worked great , but yesterday when I switched from XM to Bluetooth (listened to less than one song) and then back to XM, it came up with a prompt that said "No iPod connection." AM/FM and Bluetooth both work, but whenever I try to listen to satellite radio, I get the same "no iPod connection) message. Any ideas.
