    Hey there everyone,
I have a 2014 access cab(conveniance package) with the nice touch screen stereo. I also have a Sirius subscirpton. Anyone know if I can add the Sirius function to the Toyota stereo? Or do I have to clip my old receiver to the dash and stick the antenna to the roof!?

I do not believe you can add that into the stock stereo. You will have to have it 'stream" to an FM station.

I have heard people say the Sirius antenna can be placed under the dash (behind the radio, just below the surface of the dash) and you will get good signal there. I tried this when I upgraded my system, but it cut out a lot. I was able to use the existing antenna that came in my truck for sat radio. You might to do this for the antenna

Call end tell them you are going to cancel because of the cost. They will offer you a substantial discount to maintain your business.

I recently put the vaistech kit in my 2013. It was plug and play as advertised, happy with the result. I did mount the magnetic antenna on the roof centered above windshield and haven't had any problems with signal.

Know this is several months after the last post, but if you're still looking for a way to get your factory radio compatible with XM be aware that the 2012 and up base touch screen radio will accept a Sirius/xm tuner. The most common and affordable one is from a company called iSimple. Whole setup costs about $200 and comes with a tuner, interface, antenna, and all necessary cables.

A friend of mine used an iSimple kit to add to his older Silverado that didnt have it and it works well. I've been debating getting a kit for my truck but not sure if I want to pay for another subscription since my wife has it in her new Acadia.

I've been using the same XM converter for the past 7 years. It's been in 4 different vehicles. I'm about to order the kit from xm fanstore.

Well, I pulled the trigger and bought the iSimple XM kit from XMfanstore.com. Installed it last night. Best thing I did was download installation instructions from Toyota of McDonough. Not having pulled the radio, it really helped knowing how. Be sure and read the instructions that come with the Sirius/XM converter, though. I didn't and thought I'd unplugged something as I was buttoning everything back up. Couldn't find the radio ID number. Turned out I just needed to go to a particular channel to find the preview channel and then tune down to find the ID number.
