Yeah, no doubt. Wonder if they do military discounts, since they keep saying on their websites how the US military uses them.

Cuz, you know, a $400 12" light is only the same as, what, like 6 Hellas?

As far as the light bar on the lower grille, wouldn't that affect the cooling aspect from the space that's there? Or is it mitigated due to the larger top portion?

Wont make a difference. Look at some of the aftermarket bumpers or even winch bumpers that don't really even have that very bottom opening.

thats pretty sweet.. but holy hell thats a lot of money for that. Ill stick with my 4 HID lights for now. Besides you would have to weld that damn thing on to keep some schmuck from stealing it.

It would be much easier to steal 4 HID's mounted to a light bar than an LED mounted into the lower grill.

Thats not whats in question... there's lots of trucks running around with off road lights and its not obvious that they are hid unless they're like solteks. the led light bar. Looks totally different and cool. I'm sure it would draw a lot more attention from potential thieves than standard off road lights.

Wow, I've never seen these. How bright are they? Are they actually useful? Or for looks?

I see your point. You can get the anti theft nuts for you off road lights. Pretty much the same function as the wheel lugs. Have to have a key to turn them. As far as LED's being useful and bright. I guess there is a reason they are being used by border patrol and in the baja. Look at the test results on their site and see how bright they are.

so what I don't get is, if you're worried about aux light theft, why not Locktite or JB Weld the things on? Just dab it around the bolt and nut, right?

The Rigid Industries bars are, by far, the best offroad lights on the market. I am also a distributor for Rigid Industries if anyone in AZ is interested. These lights come in 4", 6", 10", 20", 30", 40", and 50". There is also a four LED 3" by 3" light (dually) that is great for small applications. Custom sizes and installation can be ordered for an additional charge. These lights do not have hot spots like Hellas or HID offroad lights, they do not bounce over rough terrain like normal offroad lights, and they only draw a fraction of the amps that a normal offroad light would.

Benca1, I dont want to take business away from you, just thought I would give locals in my area a chance to save on shipping.

I am a full line dealer and installer of HID and LED lighting. I also have access to a fab shop if anyone is looking for a custom type install.

I have a small ten inch bar flush mounted in my front bumper right now for demo purposes. We are working on a bolt on bar right now that will mount behind the bumper and allow flush mounting in the bumper opening of any size bar you want (up to 36"). The opening in the front bumper is 38 inches, I can have custom size light bars built for an additional charge.

I know these lights are expensive, but you get what you pay for. The quality and craftsmanship of these lights is incredible. The housing is an all aluminum construction with heat sinks built into the back of it to help dissapate heat. The clear lens is made of Lexan, which will not crack, shatter, or fade over time. These lights also come with a wiring harness, relay, and lighted rocker switch for easy installation. All you have to do is mount the switch, hook up positive and negative, and plug in the waterproof connector to the light bar. Very simple for even a beginner.

If there are enough people wanting these Rigid Industries light bars I will set up a TW Group Buy to try and help out a little bit with the cost.

These lights are also available in amber which cuts through the dust and does not glare back in your face like white does.

My website will hopefully be up and running within the next few weeks or so that way you guys can check out everything I have to offer.

FOR ALL YOU OFFROADERS...GET RID OF THE HELLAS AND STEP UP TO THE BEST!!!

Check out the torture videos they put these lights through: www.rigidindustries.com

Please text, call, or PM me for prices or any questions you may have.

    Thanks
