could have been due to that 255 size tire is limited. Don't come in duratracs and I think the KM2's are cheaper and easier to get than the coopers.

2004 F-350...uh lots of motor work to go fast...er. Way to much to list. 2001: 3" leveling kit, ARB bumper, lightforce 240 blitz, 35" KM2s. SOLD 2008: OME 886s 90000 with dakars, LR UCAs, 5% tint, Satashi. SOLD 2015: Flooded and Gone
very well, i know the coopers in some places are cheaper than KM2s. but i guess tire size is more of the factor in some cases.

When it came to tire selection we went with KM2s in this size for this very reason. People ask us all the time about what they see on the internet and expect a shop to know. Well, we hadn't run km2s ourselves nor had we had any tire is this size so it's market research for you guys....your welcome :)

We get feedback from customers running them but we did not have first hand experience with the tire and size long term...so stay tuned

As for our website, it's in need of some work so some pricing may be a bit out of norm....we will offer the best pricing we can but an email or phone call will get you the best price on all our products as well as a lot more we don't have on the site yet.

Icon makes a great product for sure but we like the simple functionality of OME. From a business standpoint we sell far more ARB products than any other brand so it only makes sense to give the people what they want.

I hear you, nothing wrong with it but it's nice to have a little more adjustability and travel.

I'll be contacting you all for a fridge and slide purchase in a few months.

Been a while since we updated this....

With future needs in mind of having a winch, fridge, offroad and camp lighting we knew we had a need for more battery capacity than what the stock battery supplied. That led us to explore a bunch options from a dual battery setup to a larger single battery setup. We started collecting parts to do a dual battery setup with the intent of placing a battery behind the seat in the plastic storage area. We removed the plastic and starting fitting in our 2nd battery for a dual battery setup in that location but got cold feet with putting a battery in the cab due to venting. It also used up some potential valuable storage space for trips. So we canned that idea and decided on running a larger single battery. My wifes battery in her 4runner also went bad about that time so she got one of my batteries i had been stashing for the build.... We choose a Die Hard 31M battery from Sears. They are made by Odyssey but come with a substantial price savings. We have had it a couple months now and have been happy with its performance but have not needed its capacity yet other than cranking the truck. This is about the largest battery that will fit in the stock location. You have to trim the battery trays edges for the battery to overhang....

We also needed to upgrade coils from 885 to 886s as we added an ARB bumper and Warn M8000 winch. We were about to offer a group buy here on Tacoma World and felt like we should get some hands on time with the new 12-14 bumper before customers placed an order from us. The install went as smoothly as other ARB bumpers we had installed with the big difference having to cut the stock bumper. Always a bit of hesitation when cutting on a newish truck but someone had to do it. We used an air saw which made short work of the plastic bumper. It turned out great in our opinions.

Every time we receive a bumper from ARB I am always impressed in how well it is packaged. This is the 2nd layer of protection wrapping the bumper in plastic, card board, and padding all in a box the size of a refrigerator. Protects the powder coat every time....

We also just recently became an Airflow Snorkel dealer and were very excited to check out their product. We have installed Safari Snorkels on other trucks before but were eager to try out Airflow since they are the only company that offers a kit specifically for 2nd Gen Tacomas. Install went pretty smooth other than breaking a few splash guard clips and fender flare clips. After cutting up the stock bumper, cutting a drilling holes in the fender were NOT any easier for my emotions. It all worked out though and I am happy with the quality of the snorkel and components supplied with the kit.

Yea that battery box looks great!

This is the first set of 255s I have ever run and so far I have been pleased. The one time they have been offroad they dug through the carolina red clay well and during snowmagedon, or whatever the media called it, they did well in the slushy NC snow. I have not had a chance to have them on much rocks yet but will update you after the first weekend in April when we go to Uwharrie for opening weekend/Uwharrie Jamboree.

We mounted up the Bud Built skid plates we had laying around on the truck at some point in the past. Had the crossover pipe tucked up as high as safely possible so we could run with as much clearance as possible. We also have the gas skid that has yet to be installed sitting at the shop
