Thanks man. Was thinking about that, but i think it would be too much white. It would look like an FJ. Lol. I'm still trying to figure out the color theme and pattern for that center strip down to the center console

Just ordered the last of my lighting from TRS. Love those guys. knowledgeable, great customer service, and great prices. Can't wait to be done with my lighting.

 

Is it possible to put your eBay bowl/bezel etc in a factory housing?

 

Hmmmm, probably. Would be just like doing a retro. Don't have a shroud tho. Wanna do our led's when I do my lights next week?

 

Yeah probably, if you can do it swap in a factory housing!

 

You want me to swap the ebay projectors into a reflector housing? They wont be that good tho. Hence why I swapped mine.

 

No put all of the eBay stuff, into a stock housing. Just the housing switched

Just updated my list in the OP.. had to change some stuff around. Think I finally have it figured out tho.

Also, finished my headlights... FOR GOOD! Finally have them how I want them. Color, cutoff, etc. Installed my LED'S in the map, dome, and license plate as well.

Need to wash the truck and get some updated pics.

 

Try the Alpine Type R shallow or RF P3 shallow. I have the P3 and it hits really hard, even though it is underpowered.

have you installed the switches that you bought at Sierra expeditions? i bought two that i need to switch out. I need to get new Build pics too

 

Yeah I did. I popped out the the vsc and trac switches since Ive hated them from day one, and have the ABS killswitch.. and put the new switches in their spots.

 

so do they fit without modification. Will said i may have to dremel it a bit to fit

 

Yeah, the holes need to be trimmed a bit. I just used my knife and cut away the plastic tabs that hold In the stock switches. Basically making it a larger opening.

 

I hate your work schedule too. Lol. It's been too long man. We havent gone wheelin or anything in months! no bueno..

 

well... so much for trying to stick to my "plan" shit keeps coming up, or i find something else to blow money on.. I think im better off just goin with the flow.. as much as i hate not sticking to a plan or being organized.. its less stressful to just forget about it and go witht the flow and get stuff done when i can.

Also, I DO have to take the headlights apart... AGAIN. the plastic nut for the adjuster screw on the inside of the housing is stripped im guessing, because when i hit a big enough bump, my headlight aiming goes completely out of whack.. SO.. ill have to bake them again and fix that.. while im in there ill probably make some small adjustments to the rotation to get the DEAD ON, along with messing with the cutoff to get a little less blue. just means more trial and error.

one more thing.. the dreaded thought of LT is still floating around in my head.. S/C'd, 4x4, LT = BADASS. lol

BUT.. that means bye bye clean, silent, sleeper truck.. hello loud, modded, beast.

idk.. thats way down the line.. still have to finish this so called "plan" lol
